  Lena Driver, former Parelli instructor and Equitana performer, but first and foremost horse lover and rescuer, is not only one of the most inspiring and caring women I've ever met, but is a patient and knowledgeable teacher who educates her students about safety (of both horse and rider), horse care, horse communication, and horse psychology, in addition to the cherry on top - riding!! At this riding school, you will not be thrown on a horse and taught to use the mechanics of a bit to 'get it to do what you want', rather, you will be taught to ready your own horse, how to be safe with your horse on the ground, and how to use the natural way that horses communicate with one another to communicate your desires to your horse while riding - without using force or coercion. In my short time with Lena, I've learned that many of the behaviors people think are "naughty" in horses, are actually a result of our poor ability to communicate with them. I would recommend Lena Driver to everyone from a 5 year old getting on a horse for the first time, to those who are wanting to build a stronger relationship with their horse, to young adults looking to improve their confidence by learning how to be a good leader for horses, to the most experienced of riders who want to improve the finesse of their dressage using natural horsemanship. Lena's horses are treated with the respect they deserve, and are incredibly trusting of humans, making them safe to ride and play with. I'm so glad I found Giddy up at GG's and I feel that there is an infinite amount I can learn from Lena.
